Basic Information
Name: Mary Leanne Hare
Age: 10
Gender: Female
Grade: Not a student
Looks:
Due to her special abilities, Mary fancies herself as some sort of superhero, and attempts to dress like one, to rather comedic proportions. She has a purple hat that, combined with her matching purple robe, looks fashionable, in her opinion. Her robe falls to her ankles, and the sleeves of it nearly go past her wrists. She also happens to have on a purple cape as well, again to just look like a superhero.
As for other things; she carries a wooden rod with her, mostly because her abilities deal with lightning and she also fancies herself a lightning mage, as she calls it. She has on rather ordinary looking brown shoes, and also has a red satchel around her waist, slung over her shoulder. In the satchel are her special weapons; two daggers that look the same, and were created at the same time she obtained her powers. She has a rather strange hair color, green, though the matching green eyes aren't so odd. She stands at a height of 4'2" inches and weighs around 64 pounds.
Rank: Special Human
Personality: Mary is surprisingly intelligent for her young age; she's quite the bookworm. That isn't to say that she's shy though, since she enjoys trying to make friends. She is usually a very hyper girl and easily excitable; despite her past, she tries to be as childish as she can while she can. She looks to the future and always thinks that there's a better day on the horizon. Also, she is calculating when it comes to planning on her next robbery or theft.
In battle, she still acts like a child; she taunts her enemies. She doesn't taunt them to make them mad or anything, she just taunts them because she can. Some of her likes include candy, books, and a successful theft. Some dislikes include a fear of heights, 'healthy' food, and ignorance.
Sexuality: I REALLY hope she's straight.
Relationship Status: Yeah, um, single; definitely not looking.
Human Special Ability Information
Constant daggers: As a result of her powers, her daggers are constantly around and she is in complete control of them. She can make them vanish and appear where she chooses in an instant, much like how lightning appears in an instant.
Lightning reiatsu: She doesn't have much control over her reiatsu; as such, it's usually leaking out of her. It's a danger to a lot of people while she's in a fight, considering that's when it flares up the most. When flared up, it's capable of striking anyone within range of Mary, though she doesn't have control of it. It could be stationary one moment and attacking the next.
Human Technique Information
Name: Lightning Call
Description: A rather simple ability, to say the least. Mary channels electricity into her twin daggers and then throws them towards her opponent. This channeled electricity calls down lightning from the sky once it reaches its opponent, scorching them. In the event that the two daggers miss, they lose their electrical charge and appear back in her hands.
Name: Electric Dome
Description: Another simple ability, electricity crackles around Mary and forms a dome around her, blocking outside attacks. It is capable of lashing out at any nearby people if they are enemies via electricity.
Name: Storm Call
Description: Easily the strongest attack out of her abilities, though she does only have three abilities. What this ability does is conjure up a storm in the sky and lightning will strike where she directs it to. It has the same amount of power as normal lightning does, amplified with her own reiatsu. Also, if struck by the lightning, the opponent is paralyzed for a few moments.
History and RP Sample
History: Mary is distinctly non-Japanese looking, despite living in Karakura Town for most of her life. Her father, for the most part, worked as a librarian in a small town in America, while her mother worked as an author full-time. Not much of a job, but it paid good money, and her mother had a lot of talent. Mary lived quite happily in America, and made quite a few friends, but a few years into her life, she had to go away to Japan. It wasn't due to anything special, her mother had started work on a book that dealt heavily with Japan, and to better understand the culture, she wanted the family to move there.
So, they moved when Mary was around five years of age, halfway through her life. Despite not knowing the culture, Mary fit in well at the school. This was mostly because the friends she did manage to gain taught her about the culture. She was good at school, though due to the different systems the American and Japanese schools went by, she found it more difficult than schools in America. She found herself surprised that she was just as happy in Japan as she had been in America, and settled into Japanese life quite nicely. She even found herself liking some of the unique television shoes they had in Japan.
Soon after moving to Japan, however, she began to see odd things. For instance, when other people were surprised and shocked at a person suddenly getting attacked by nothing, she saw the faint outline of a monster. For years it remained this way, and she usually also smelled the monster too; she was rather powerless when it came to fighting them, however. That happened to change when she turned eight years of age.
Soon after her eighth birthday, the young girl returned home from school like always. Silence greeted her, but she smelled a monster in the house; when she approached the room of her parents, she smelled more than that...she smelled blood. Fortunately, she arrived right before the monster was going to kill her mother, but she wasn't able to stop it; all she could do was jump on its back and pound on it in rage. That, obviously, didn't hurt it in the slightest, and it only served to have her getting tossed towards a wall, with a fist sent towards her small body.
The fist that was as large as her body managed to connect with her little body and left her a bruised and broken heap on the ground outside. During the commotion, the 'fight' dragged outside, and her mother had attempted to escape, to find some sort of help. She was, after all, unable to see anything, but had just blatantly witnessed some invisible being attacking her daughter. Her mother didn't get that chance as the beast, enraged, punched at her too and connected.
Mary saw this occur, but she still wasn't able to do anything. That's when her daggers showed up in a flash of lightning from the sky. They showed up right in front of her, and confused, the girl picked them up; they seemed filled to the brim with electrical energy. Without much of a plan, the girl ran in the direction of the hollow and, as it attempted to punch at her again, she stabbed it with her daggers. Electricity went coursing through the hollow and, within moments, it had been defeated. After that, she tried to live with her mother, but more and more hollow attacks kept occurring after her abilities showed up.
She eventually decided to leave her mother and go forth on her own; she believed that she was only bringing trouble to her mother. So, she began to practice her abilities by herself, while at the same time making a living. She did this by swiping from various shops and homes. Of course, she also swiped from the occasional person who looked like they had an expensive object.

- Spoiler:
- Nera Aburame...was bored, and walking; more specifically, she was walking downstairs to eat her breakfast. Recently, her brother, Kai, had been made a genin soon after her, and now she held no advantage over him. She definitely needed to be stronger than him, but she didn't know how to be. "Good morning" She heard her father say; it was odd, seeing him cook, but apparently, after he retired from the ninja life, he had found talent in cooking. Kimaru liked this, since she didn't want to be the stereotypical wife who cooked; she was a bit of a tomboy like Nera, and she wanted to have fun too. Himashu didn't mind doing the cooking; in fact, he liked being a cook, he found it soothing when compared to his life as a shinobi.
"Something the matter?" He questioned, noticing her gloomy mood as she sat down at the table. "Mmh...nah, I just...I dunno, I want to be stronger! I want to kick butt! But I can't do that unless I learn jutsu..." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Well, Nera, I know what that is like. I've felt that feeling before, Nera, and you know what I did? I created my own jutsu" In truth, he didn't remember if he had or not, he was just saying this stuff to cheer her up. "Really? Hm..maybe I should too!" With this, the young Aburame jumped up and ran outside, forgetting to even eat her breakfast...as usual; she was easily excitable at times.
So...my own jutsu...I can't think of a thing She thought to herself as she walked towards the gates of Konoha, intending to go to a place her father had went to often, when he was younger. He told her it was a rather beautiful place, with a lake right in the middle. He had told her that a lot of things had happened to him in that place, and it was rather special, so be sure not to take it down if she ever went there. Of course, if it was special to her father, she would never take it down, despite how she acted at times. I don't have any idea where to begin.. she thought to herself once outside of Konoha, and on her way to the secret spot. When she got there, however, she noticed a woman standing there, apparently having waited for her. "Eh...? Who are you?" Nera asked, and the woman turned around.
"The name's Maki; I knew your father from when he was still a Jounin, on his mission to become a sage. You're trying to create your own jutsu, aren't you?" The woman known as Maki replied, then she sat down, the lake in front of her. "Er...I am, actually" Nera responded, unable to keep the surprise out of her voice; she had never heard of Maki before, so she must not have much contact with Himashu or Kimaru. "And...I have never heard of you before; why is that?" Nera questioned of her, and she shrugged in response. "I don't know; I think it's because Himashu wanted me to find my own way in life, and he felt he would influence my decisions" She stated. "But I'm not here to talk about me, I'm here to help you" She said, nodding her head to the ground next to her, to indicate Nera should sit there, and so, Nera did sit there.
"And how are you going to help me, Maki?" Nera questioned of the older girl, her gaze on the lake as she asked this question. "Just close your eyes and think, Nera; you don't think of your own jutsu on the fly, you have to think about it, think about what you really need" Maki informed the girl and, doubting it would work, Nera closed her eyes. She started to think and realized there was one critical weakness; all of her attacks relied on the opponent being male or the opponent not being resistant to fire. If the opponent was female and resistant to fire, she would have no way to fight them except for straight up punches and kicks, and bugs if you counted her destruction bugs. Wait...my destruction bugs, that's it.. she thought to herself, opening her eyes..and noticing that the woman known as Maki had disappeared.
"Where did she go...?" Nera questioned, standing up and glancing around, then she frowned; it was far too quiet for a forest, even if it was secret. She ducked low as kunai were thrown at her, and she looked in the direction they had came from; now who would be targeting a genin, unless they knew of her father? "Come out!" She shouted in the direction of this enemy, and a man stepped into view. He looks...similar in appearance to that one man that father told me about...if I remember right, father said he is an Aburame too...Sari Aburame, that was his name. "Sari...what are you doing here?" Nera said to him with a glare, and he let out a chuckle.
"Is the little genin mad at dear me? I'm sorry for any grievance I caused you, dear" He said to her with a smirk as he stepped out of his hiding spot; he knew a genin had no hope of taking him on. "It has been quite a while; your father, he virtually destroyed my organization and the Shriaken, but he failed; he failed to avenge the death of his sister. I wonder how he would feel if his daughter was killed by me too? Would he feel regret for not killing me? For not seeking me out and dismissing me? Hm.." Sari was pondering what to do, and in that brief moment, Nera decided on something. She performed swift hand signs, and destruction bugs started to come out of her body. At first, they didn't seem to want to cooperate with each other and form what she had in mind, but soon enough, they did.
"Bug Storm" was all Nera said as the bugs formed into a cloud. "Interesting..jutsu of your own, I take it? Absolutely superb, a new genin and already you made your own jutsu..." Sari said, watching in amusement as the bugs got close to him, lashing out at him with whips made of bugs. This man...killed my aunt; he deserves to die.. She thought to herself as the bugs got as close to him as possible and started to swirl around in a tornado shape. He was dragged in, of course, but he easily swatted the bugs away as if they were flies, and faced Nera, whom was running towards him. "Foolish, utterly foolish. You need to work on your style." He told her, performing hand signs of his own. He lessened the power of the attack as the jutsu neared completion, and he finished his hand signs. "I'll weaken this attack, leave you alive; let your father see what could have happened. We will meet again though, Nera Aburame, trust me." He said. "Raiton - Kirin" At that instant, lightning struck from the sky, hitting the young Aburame girl and stopping her dead in her tracks.
"Your father killed the Kinesis' leader, but I still live; I will destroy Konoha and everyone in it; trust me when I say this" With that ultimatum made, the man turned on his heel and left the area, it would be quite some time before anyone found Nera; eventually, shinobi made their way there, since witnesses had reported seeing lightning coming out of the sky and hitting somewhere in the general area of that forest. I lost to him...even when mad, I couldn't kill the man who killed my aunt, father's sister. I need power... Nera was thinking this as medical ninja operated on her at the hospital.
That man..made an ultimatum to destroy Konoha...I can't let that happen She was still thinking hours later, when they had managed to pull her out of critical condition. Despite what Sari had said, he had still made the attack almost too strong for her to handle. "Father...I couldn't stop Sari" She muttered in her sleeping state. "but...I won't let him..do anything more" She again muttered in her sleep, and then she stopped speaking, not making any apparent thought or action until she finally woke up; the next day.
"Nera? Nera, what happened?" That was the first thing she heard, her father asking her that question as she woke up. She was still in the hospital, strapped to all kinds of machines, but apparently she was going to be okay; she needed rest. "Father..." She muttered, opening her eyes soon enough and seeing him there, along with her mother, Kimaru; Kai was there too, looking just as worried as her parents. "Yes, it's me, Nera...how did this happen?" He questioned; even though she couldn't see it, she knew her father's anger was close to erupting, he wanted to kill whoever did this. "It was...that man you told me about; Sari..Aburame. From..what it seemed, he was the one behind aunt Hanima's death..." She said to him, and a hardness found its way onto the Hyuuga's face.
"Sari...I never did manage to track him down.." Himashu stated, remembering that long time ago when he had discovered his sister's motionless form; it had happened once before, but the second time, she really was dead, and it..hurt him, deeply. He had vowed to destroy the Purple Kinesis and the Shriaken, but he failed in that task; Sari had still managed to live, and he regretted it. "The doctors say...that you'll have to stay here, and rest up..." Himashu decided to tell her instead, and she nodded her head. "Okay.." She stated. "And..papa? I'm sorry...I tried to fight him...I did...but I couldn't avenge...aunt Hanima" She said; that was the first day Nera shed real, true tears. "I couldn't avenge her" She repeated, and she fell back into sleep.
